Primary Responsibilities

  1. Strong construction site management skills, including supervision of field crews and coordination of subcontractors.

  2. Demonstrated knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations, with a track record of maintaining safe job sites.

  3. Solid organization skills, including documentation, scheduling, and prioritization of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  4. Experience with budgeting and cost control, including tracking project expenses and supporting financial reporting.

  5. Proficiency in project management, including managing timelines, milestones, and alignment with project specifications.

  6. Prior experience as a construction superintendent or foreperson on commercial or residential projects.

  7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.

  8. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  9. Takes ownership and thinks ahead.

  10. Communicates proactively and solves problems.

  11. Leads with professionalism and accountability.

  12. Wants to grow into a senior leadership role.

Requirements 

  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, municipal, housing, or public construction.

  • Familiarity with construction management software and basic computer proficiency.

  • Relevant technical training or education in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, scheduling, and subcontractor management.

  • OSHA 30 Certification.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
