Request for Proposals Notice. 98-104 Edwards Street LLC (A partnership between VASE Management LLC and Censere Consulting LLC) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from General Contractors for the new construction of "98-104 Edwards Street Redevelopment" at 98-104 Edwards Street, Hartford, CT 06120.

The project consists of the new construction of a four-story, multi-family, wood-framed building containing 20 apartment units totaling approximately 20,500 gross square feet, and associated site improvements.

This project is receiving state funding and will be subject to City of Hartford requirements, DOH formatting, and bonding and insurances. Buy America, Building America (BABA) add alternate pricing shall be included.

General Contractors who wish to be considered and have the experience and capacity to provide the required services shall request a copy of the RFP submission instructions via email to EdwardsSt@VaseManagement.com and EdwardsSt@pbbarchitect.com. VASE Management LLC, on behalf of Bridge on Main, LLC, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for the renovation, restoration, and adaptive re-use of the historic former F.W. Woolworth / Rite Aid building located at 1085 Main Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The project generally consists of four stories of interior and exterior alterations, renovation, and restoration work, including assembly/event/learning spaces, commercial/training kitchen, offices, communal areas, healthcare suite with exam rooms, café, conference rooms, and rooftop garden/sitting area.

Estimated budget range: $10,000,000 – $12,500,000

This project is funded in part through public sources, including HUD and State of Connecticut funding, and is subject to applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to: HUD procurement requirements, Section 3 requirements, Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage requirements, and Connecticut CHRO Contract Compliance requirements. The selected contractor will be required to comply with current Connecticut CHRO Good Faith Efforts requirements and applicable Spending Allocation Goals.
