VASE Construction is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager with an architectural background to join our team in New Haven, CT.

Key Responsibilities
At VASE Construction, our Project Managers lead with precision, purpose, and professionalism. They ensure every project reflects our commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction.
Uphold and enforce VASE’s core values, safety standards, and company policies across all phases of the project.
Manage overall project financials — including budgets, cost controls, change orders, and cash flow — to ensure profitability.
Coordinate schedules, workflows, and team meetings to keep production on track and aligned with milestones.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, team members, subcontractors, and business partners.
Ensure all project documentation is current, accurate, and shared; collaborate with design teams to review drawings and resolve constructability issues.
Oversee and track RFIs, submittals, and all project-related communications with clarity and timeliness.
Lead procurement efforts, including securing key material packages, aligning with budget and schedule requirements.
Ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials to meet critical path activities and project deadlines.
Promote VASE’s services to clients and partners, reinforcing our reputation and business development goals.
Drive project close-out, including punch list completion, final billing, lien waivers, and full turnover to the client.
Qualifications
3–5 years of post-graduation experience in design and management of construction projects, including educational or cultural buildings.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or a related field preferred.
Strong design skills and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Experience managing design projects for firms and owners, with the ability to lead from a construction perspective.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
Experience with project management platforms such as Procore; Bluebeam experience is a required.
Skilled in documenting projects and workflows using project management software.
