VASE January 2026 Newsletter: Building Forward in 2026

From the Desk of the CEO

A new year isn’t just for reflection — it’s for momentum

At VASE, building has always meant more than concrete and steel. It’s about creating spaces that strengthen communities, support families, expand access to care, and inspire learning.

As we move into this year, our focus is simple: build with intention, lead with clarity, and deliver work that truly serves people. Let’s build something meaningful together in the year ahead.

— Vincencia “Vee” Adusei, President & CEO

Construction Management

Building Communities Through Public–Private Partnerships

As we kick off the year, VASE is proud of the strong foundation we’ve built across Connecticut—from campgrounds and restaurants to institutional, residential, and healthcare projects that support essential services and community growth. Looking ahead, our Construction Management team is gearing up for a new wave of complex, high-impact work—including multi-story renovations, modernized interiors, training spaces, rooftop amenities, and residential rehabilitation projects. Our approach remains the same: collaborate closely, execute with precision, and build responsibly—always with the community in mind.

Real Estate Development

Explore & Invest in Ghana with VASE Estates

VASE continues to expand its presence in Ghana, creating structured opportunities for buyers and lenders to participate in long-term, community-anchored real estate development.

We are currently in the planning phase, advancing design, construction drawings, and planning and sale agreements to position the project for execution. As part of this process, we are preparing a Ghana site tour on December 30th—designed for prospective buyers, and financing partners to visit the site, understand the market context, and engage early in the project lifecycle.

Community Spotlight

Powerful Conversations – A Look Back

Over the past year, VASE’s President had the honor of serving as a panelist and being recognized by organizations including the Women in Networking Council (Greater Valley Chamber), Minority Construction Council, 100 Women of Color, Southern Connecticut State University, and more.

These conversations brought women together to share real stories of leadership, resilience, and growth—celebrating both the challenges and the wins that shape our journeys. Moments like these remind us why representation, connection, and shared experience matter in the construction industry.
