VASE Construction Joins Project Kick-Off for The Bridge on Main

BRIDGEPORT, CT – On January 27, 2026, VASE Construction joined Career Resources, Inc. and community partners at 1085 Main Street for the official project kick-off of The Bridge on Main. As the designated Project Manager for the development, VASE Construction is deeply involved in the transformation of the 42,500-square-foot facility into a collaborative resource center.

The event marked the beginning of a major renovation to provide integrated employment services, job training, and case management to system-impacted individuals and their families. VASE CEO Vincencia Adusei and her team were in attendance alongside Christopher Landino, Chief Development Officer of Career Resources, Inc., to present the site plans and project timeline.

Project Highlights

The renovation, managed by VASE, involves converting the historic Art Deco building into a multi-use hub featuring:

  • Infrastructure: Two floors dedicated to training, office, and conference spaces.

  • The Bridge Ballroom: An 11,000-square-foot venue with a commercial kitchen and capacity for 250 seated guests.

  • Service Capacity: Spaces designed for a network of nonprofit partners and a premiere job placement firm.

  • Housing Annex: A connection point for individuals requiring residential support.

The project is designed to centralize wraparound services for system-impacted individuals. VASE Construction is responsible for overseeing the technical execution and management of the site to ensure the facility meets the operational requirements of Career Resources, Inc. and its partners. Construction is expected to begin soon and run through 2027.
