NCBW-NHMC to Honor VASE Construction CEO Vincencia Adusei with Trailblazer Award
NEW HAVEN, CT — September 12, 2026 — VASE Construction is proud to announce that its President and CEO, Vincencia Adusei, has been selected as an honoree at the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. New Haven Metropolitan Chapter’s (NCBW-NHMC) 10th Anniversary Celebration & Excellence Brunch.
The anniversary event, themed “Ignite the Future: Uplifting Voices · Driving Change · Leading with Vision and Advocacy,” will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Anthony's Ocean View in New Haven, Connecticut.
Adusei will receive the Trailblazer & Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership, dedication to community advancement, and visionary contributions to the construction management industry across Connecticut.
The 10th Anniversary Excellence Brunch marks a decade of advocacy, leadership, service, and sisterhood by the NCBW-NHMC. The milestone celebration honors visionary leaders, trailblazers, and changemakers shaping Connecticut's communities. The event features guest speaker Honorable Corey P. Paris—recipient of the 2026 Dr. Carolyn D. Vermont Legacy of Excellence in Public Service Award—alongside a distinguished cohort of honorees across business, education, health equity, public safety, and philanthropy. Special 2026 Public Policy Recognition will also be awarded to State Representatives Kia Belton, Tammy Exum, and Treneé McGee.
