VASE Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Architect to lead commercial, healthcare, institutional, municipal, housing, and real estate development projects throughout Connecticut.
This role combines architectural expertise with construction management, leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field staff.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Review drawings for constructability, coordination, and value engineering.Lead project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Coordinate owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field staff.
Conduct project meetings and issue same-day meeting minutes.
Review requisitions, project financials, and documentation.
Deliver safe, high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
Anticipate challenges, solve problems, and provide exceptional client service.
Real Estate Development
Lead the architectural design and permitting of VASE's smaller in-house real estate development projects.
Prepare conceptual layouts, coordinate consultants, and support zoning, permitting, and feasibility efforts.
Assist with development planning, budgeting, and value engineering from acquisition through construction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of commercial construction or construction management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction documents and building systems.
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
