Overview

VASE Management is seeking a Project Architect to support our construction division while also providing architectural support across select real estate development projects.

This is a construction-led role. The primary responsibility is to support project execution—working alongside Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure coordination, constructability, and delivery. Architectural expertise will be leveraged to strengthen decision-making, resolve design challenges, and support development efforts as needed.

The ideal candidate understands that successful projects require more than good design—they must be practical, buildable, and efficiently executed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support active construction projects with a focus on execution, coordination, and problem-solving

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain schedule, performance, and subcontractor accountability

  • Drive field coordination, particularly for interior trades, ensuring alignment with sequencing and constructability

  • Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure buildability and alignment with field conditions

  • Coordinate with architects and consultants to ensure drawings are complete, coordinated, and cost-effective

  • Bridge communication between design teams and construction teams

  • Support value engineering and design adjustments during construction

  • Assist with project scheduling, tracking, documentation, and OAC meetings

  • Step into a project management role on smaller assignments as needed

  • Provide architectural input on development projects, including feasibility, zoning review, and early-stage coordination

Qualifications

  • 7–12+ years of experience in architecture and/or construction

  • Licensed Architect preferred, but not required

  • Architectural degree required

  • Experience in healthcare, institutional, or occupied facility projects strongly preferred

  • Experience in multi-family, mixed-use, or residential development preferred

  • Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing

  • Proven ability to manage projects independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to operate both in the field and at the management level

  • Proficiency with Procore or similar project management tools

  • OSHA 30 preferred

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who can apply pressure where needed

  • Strategic thinker who can also get into the details

  • Calm, decisive leadership in high-pressure environments

  • Strong understanding of both construction and design

  • Ability to support multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience

  • Performance-based annual bonus

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

  • Retirement plan with company contribution (eligibility based on tenure)

  • Paid vacation, holidays, and time off

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile healthcare and institutional projects

  • Growth and advancement within a dynamic and expanding organization
