Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role in Greenwich, CT as well as other towns in Connecticut. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations, ensure projects are completed efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards. The responsibility includes supervising construction teams, coordinating schedules, enforcing safety regulations, managing budgets, and ensuring project timelines are met.

Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in construction site management and construction safety practices

  2. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills

  4. Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Procore

  5. Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, means, and equipment

  6. Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

  7. Experience assigning and coordinating trade field assignments across multiple projects

  8. Strong project management, scheduling, and budgeting skills

  9. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  10. Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners

  11. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  12. Ability to review and manage project schedules, ensuring critical activities remain on track and that timely updates are provided to the project management team

  13. Ability to respond to subcontractor requests and resolve field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Manage and support training for Superintendents

  2. Assist Business Development, Estimating, and Project Executives with logistics planning and schedule development during pre-construction and early project phases, as needed
