VASE CEO, to Share Expertise at WIN 5th Annual PowHERful Conversations

SHELTON, CT – Vincencia Adusei, President and Founder of VASE Construction, a leading construction management and real estate development firm in Connecticut, will be a featured panelist at the Women In Networking (WIN) Council's 5th Annual PowHERful Conversations event. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Courtyard by Marriott, 780 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484.

The "PowHERful Conversations" event brings together successful women entrepreneurs and professionals for a morning of networking and discussion, with all proceeds directly benefiting the WIN Council's Entrepreneurial Grant Program. This program provides micro-grants to women-owned businesses in the six Valley communities of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton.

Adusei, known for her leadership and success in the male-dominated construction and real estate development industries, will share her unique insights and experiences with attendees. Her firm, VASE Construction, has a robust portfolio of over 2,000 projects and is recognized for its commitment to social responsibility and community impact. Adusei’s journey, which began in her family’s construction business in Ghana, has been marked by determination and a passion for creating meaningful infrastructure that drives economic growth.

She will be joined on the panel by a distinguished group of women leaders, including:

  • Hannah Perry, Creator & Founder of The Giggling Pig, a multi-location art studio and educational business.

  • Dominika Smaga, RN, Owner of Rehydrate IV Infusion, a health and wellness business.

  • Dr. Camelia Lawrence, Director of Breast Surgery at The Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center.

The WIN Council is a dynamic group of professional women and business owners from the Naugatuck River Valley region dedicated to sharing best practices, building relationships, and supporting fellow women entrepreneurs. The organization’s Entrepreneurial Grant Program, now in its 21st year, has awarded over $82,000 in grants and scholarships to 88 women-owned businesses.

Proceeds from the 5th Annual PowHERful Conversations event will be used to fund the 2025 Micro Grant Awards, which will be announced in December. The event is an opportunity for participants to engage in personal and professional development while supporting a vital program that fosters the growth of local women-owned businesses.
