VASE is officially a proud recipient of the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) Grant. WBDC Equity Match Grant Program is designed to help women-owned businesses across the Connecticut grow. Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 are awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability. 

NYCHA’s Chair and Chief Executive Officer Greg Russ was recently featured in an episode of “YIMBY Nation,” a podcast hosted by Jimmy Lee Miller, Vincencia Adusei, and Peter J. Wood that provides a forum for affordable housing professionals to discuss their work. During the half-hour conversation, Chair Russ highlighted the Authority’s efforts to revitalize its buildings, the need for additional federal investment, and the future of public housing.

VASE is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee development of ongoing construction project. Solid experience in field operations and project administration is necessary to fulfill this job, which requires strong communication between the business and the working team. This position requires frequent walking, climbing, and bending to check walls and other structures. Previous construction experience is a must.
