VASE Business and Resource Center is a division of VASE Management (VASE). VASE has over a decade of experience in Management, Construction, and Housing and Community Development programs.
VASE offers Construction Management/General Contracting, Consulting Services, and Membership Subscription Services for private and public entities. VASE holds surety bond, major contractor license and is a full certified Section 3, Small (SBE) and Minority/Women (M/WBE) Business Enterprise.
VASE devoted staff of over 10 years include licensed Architects, Engineers, administrative, and construction professionals.
VASE accomplishments includes developing over 30 Section 3 Resident-Owned Businesses (ROB); Providing General Contracting/Construction Management services for a $71.8 million Superstorm Sandy State Housing Recovery project funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); Assisting hundreds of diverse businesses to expand work opportunities, increase strategic alliances, and meet specific requirements to participate in state/federal contract award process; Writing and developing M/WBE and Section 3 workshops; Developing a State-of-the Art technology (VASE Website Bid Portal) for contractors and agencies to use as an outreach effort and to increase SBE, M/WBE, and Section 3 participation in federally funded projects; Developing a Back Office Program for diverse businesses, major contractors and agencies to achieve over $100 million in construction and business contracts both through a procurement and alternative procurement method of competitive bids; and Developing Professional Networking and Outreach Program to promote and connect agencies and suppliers/providers with diverse contractors.
VASE works with some of the most reputable organizations in the State including Department of Housing, Ansonia Housing Authority, Housing Authority of the City of New Haven, The Town of Fairfield, Andron Construction, Dakota Builders, Norwalk Redevelopment Agency, Wells Fargo, Yale University and more.
VINCENCIA ADUSEI, Founder & President
Vincencia Adusei is the Founder and President of VASE Management. She has a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge. Vincencia attended University of Bridgeport and earned her Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
Born in Ghana and fluent in two languages, Vincencia is self-motivated. She is a Ghanaian-American Entrepreneur and a transformative leader who spearheads a highly successful enterprise in the United States. She is using business skills and sense of integrity in which she was immersed while watching her family construction business during her early years in Ghana. Her family built a successful construction business. Her father was head of Road and Civil Engineering for Ghana Highways Authority and also key in the planning, development and maintenance of strategic projects in Kumasi and Accra, which are two of Ghana’s largest cities.
Vincencia is recognized for her commitment to small and diverse businesses, local residents, state agencies, and her community development approach from Home Builders Association, National Association of Women in Construction, Senator Richard Blumenthal, The Honorable Jim Himes, City of Bridgeport, Fairfield County Business Journal, Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council, The WorkPlace – Southern Connecticut’s Regional Workforce Development, Connecticut Against Violence, Smart CEO - New York Chapter and more.
More than anything else, Vincencia believes in the power of community. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Fairfield County Community Foundation, Greater Bridgeport Community Enterprises/ The Green Team, and Connecticut Against Violence. Vincencia’s leadership, background and project management capabilities give her a unique combination of skills, which enables her to transform organizations and communities and develop long-term, sustainable and strategic plan for her clients
