First, Business Services

VASE Management (VASE) was chosen by Connecticut Minority Supplier Development Council and Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of the City of New Haven (ECC/HANH), CT to connect contractors and agencies and to provide Technical Assistance Consultation to Small, Minority, Women and Section 3 Business concerns. VASE was tasked to support these firms, ensuring they comply with government regulations and contract requirements. VASE provided access to a vast group of pre-screened, qualified minority and women-owned contractors, and these contractors were able to access needed back office support that will assist in competitive bidding and ongoing project compliance. As a result, over 500 small businesses achieved over $100 million in contract awards both through a procurement and alternative procurement method of competitive bids. VASE has developed over 30 Section 3 Resident-Owned Businesses (ROB).

Second, Bids/RFPs Technology

Once VASE was tasked to source qualified and certified contactors for projects, the Company developed a state-of-the-art technology for general contractors and government agencies to advertise and connect with subcontractors and minority/women-owned business enterprises. With the new technology, buyers of construction and related services are assured that their project will receive maximum visibility at the appropriate time. This resulted to more competitive bids and access to local contractors and HUB Zoned businesses. VASE bids/RFPs technology delivers 50% or more savings over conventional sourcing and vetting methods.

Third, Construction Management Services

The VASE president, given her background, saw a void in the construction industry. She formed VASE general construction and construction management division to work on both residential and commercial developments throughout Connecticut. VASE works with Public/Housing Agencies, Private Owners, Institutions and Developers. VASE subcontracts 100% of our trades to experience small, medium and large contractors whilst managing the entire project independently. The VASE in-house project management staff are experienced architects, engineers and construction managers. The Company takes on projects under $100,000 and projects over $100,000. VASE is one of the most known general contracting and construction management firms in Connecticut today. Under Vincencia's leadership, VASE prides itself in developing long-term relationships with clients including Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of the City of New Haven, Yale University, Department of Housing, Ansonia Housing Authority, Town of Fairfield, City of Milford, Andron Construction, Envoy Mortgage, Ajajar and more. VASE is fully licensed, insured, bonded and is 100% certified Small-, Minority-, Women-, and Section 3 firm.

VASE is recognized for its commitment to small and diverse businesses, local residents, state agencies and her community development approach.
