President / Construction Manager
Vincencia delivers strategic leadership and tactical direction for VASE Management. She has a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge. She brings over 15 years of experience in her role. Her diverse construction background includes managing projects, representing owners, and consulting. She has worked on residential and commercial projects for public and private agencies. Her wide range of experience has provided her with a deep knowledge of the construction work process. Vincencia also has a deep and personal commitment to the region. She is on the Board of the Fairfield County Community Foundation, Housatonic Community College Foundation and CT Against Violence. Vincencia attended University of Bridgeport and earned a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Fluent in Akan and English languages, Vincencia is a Ghanaian-American Entrepreneur and a transformative leader. She uses business skills and sense of integrity she learned while observing her family construction business in Ghana. Her father was head of Road and Civil Engineering for Ghana Highways Authority and key in planning and development of strategic projects in Kumasi and Accra (two largest cities in Ghana). Having watched her parents built a successful construction business, Vincencia has followed their footsteps.
Construction Manager / Designer
Robert manages VASE’s construction projects and oversees the work of our project staff. Robert earned his bachelor of Architecture at Pratt Institute and is a registered Architect in New York and Connecticut. Robert brings over 37 years of experience in his role. He has experience with large and small corporate and residential projects. Through a wide range of project types, he has developed the ability to successfully interface with clients, contractors, and consultant teams. He brings effective communication and project management skills. Robert has overseen various projects for Hurricane Sandy Rehabilitation, City of Milford, Town of Fairfield, Astoria Federal Saving, Chase Branches, AT&T, Fort Dix Elementary School Renovation, McDonald's Restaurants and more.
Construction Project Manager
James is a Project Manager for VASE. He is responsible for construction project operations, financial management for development projects and he oversees our safety programs. James has over 26 years of experience in community development and program management. He has assisted multiple towns and cities throughout Connecticut in municipal planning, economic development, and redevelopment programs. James has been responsible for the administration of a CDBG funded hurricane recovery program and has developed procedures to implement a new program, providing over $8.5 million in recovery aid to more than 200 households along the shoreline for Department of Housing. He managed his own housing development company for 13 years, overseeing building and revitalization of projects ranging from single family owner occupied housing to larger multi-family and elderly housing. Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s degree in Community planning from the University of Rhode Island. He has completed training in a number of development and construction management programs as well as programs in development and real estate financing.
Business Development / Communications Manager (Inside Sales)
James manages communications and business development for VASE. He is a seasoned Inside Sales Professional experienced in Business Development, Marketing, Writing, Relationship Building, Needs Analysis, Sales Liaison, Telesales, CRM, and Consultative Selling. James holds a Bachelor of Science for Corporate Video/Communication from Southern Connecticut State University (S.C.S.U), New Haven, CT and a Masters of Arts for Mass Communication from Emerson College, Boston, MA. He also holds a Certificate in Radio & Television Broadcasting from Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Farmington, CT.
Eric manages all of VASE’s technologies. He brings over 15 years of professional experience in marketing and online application development. His experiences include Systems Architect, Lead Application Development, and Project Management. He has overseen and developed online projects for companies from different sectors and sizes including TV & Entertainment, Finance, Insurance & Healthcare, and eCommerce. Some of his clients include Primacy - CT/MA/NY, Anomaly - NY, Bright Spot Creative - CT, Worx Branding - CT, Matter Inc/Edelman Sports - NY as well as National / Multinational / Fortune 1000 Brands including 3M, Aetna, Best Buy, Bobs Stores, Barnes Group, BIC, CBS Radio, Crystal Rock, Diageo, eBay, EMC, ESPN, The Hartford, LiveNation, Propark, Manchester City FC, Mass Mutual, NBC Universal, NFL, Telemundo, TIAA-CREF, Mun2, Oxygen TV, WGN America, Umbro, USA Network. Eric has also developed work for Non-Profit agencies including United Way, Special Olympics of CT, YMCA Greater Waterbury, Jane Doe No More Foundation, Dr Henry Lee Institute at University of New Haven, and Boston Historical Society and start-ups such as Ultimate Camp Resource, Tenant Landlord Ratings, FindConstructionBids.com.
Vanessa Olaes Goopio
Design / Business Promotion / Web Graphic Designer
Vanessa handles marketing and promotions for VASE and our business clients. She brings over 12 years of marketing, graphic design and copywriting experience. Vanessa is also responsible for the design of the VASE website and portal.
VASE’s Founder and CEO, Vincencia Adusei is invested in increasing woman entrepreneurship in Connecticut and, in that effort, sits on the Board of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation and is a member of the Education Economic Opportunity Program Committee among others. VASE is recognized for its commitment to small and diverse businesses, local residents, state agencies and her community development approach.
